This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Redpoint application and related services (the "Service"), including our integration with Intuit QuickBooks.
Our Privacy Commitment

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account or use our Service, you may provide us with:
- Account Information: Name, email address, password, and organization details
- Profile Information: Profile picture, job title, and contact preferences
- Communication Data: Messages, feedback, and support requests you send to us
- Property Information: Building details, addresses, and property management data you input
1.2 QuickBooks Data
When you connect your QuickBooks account, we access data through Intuit's official API using OAuth 2.0 authentication. We may access:
- Transaction Data: Income and expense transactions, including dates, amounts, descriptions, and categories
- Account Information: Bank account names, balances, and account types
- Vendor and Customer Data: Names and transaction history with vendors and customers
- Invoice and Bill Data: Invoice details, payment status, and billing information
- Financial Reports: Profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial summaries
Intuit QuickBooks Compliance
Our QuickBooks integration complies with Intuit's data use and security requirements. We only access the data necessary to provide our Service, and we handle all QuickBooks data in accordance with Intuit's platform policies.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and business purposes
- QuickBooks Data: Synchronized data is retained while your QuickBooks connection is active; cached data may be retained for up to 30 days after disconnection to ensure service continuity
- Usage Logs: Typically retained for 90 days for security and troubleshooting purposes
6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 Access and Portability
You have the right to access your personal data and request a copy in a portable format. Contact us at privacy@getredpoint.com to make a request.
6.2 Correction
You can update your account information at any time through the Service settings. If you need assistance correcting other data, please contact us.
6.3 Deletion
You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Upon request, we will:
- Delete your account and associated data
- Remove your QuickBooks connection
- Delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law
6.4 Disconnect QuickBooks
You can disconnect your QuickBooks account at any time through the Service settings. You can also revoke access through your QuickBooks account settings at accounts.intuit.com.
6.5 Marketing Communications
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or adjusting your notification preferences in the Service settings.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Essential Cookies: Required for the Service to function (authentication, security)
- Preference Cookies: Remember your settings and preferences
- Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how you use the Service (used only for internal improvement)
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect Service functionality.
8. Children's Privacy
